The Story
Mojave Jewels™ Sapphire Stonecrop has masses of beautiful clusters of rose star-shaped flowers with pink overtones at the ends of the stems from late summer to early fall, which emerge from distinctive red flower buds, and which are most effective when planted in groupings. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its attractive succulent oval leaves emerge grayish green in spring, turning steel blue in color with showy deep purple variegation and tinges of silver throughout the season. The dark red stems can be quite attractive.
