This is no lamb's ear! Long-blooming flowers over tidy clumps of emerald green foliage make Hummelo a go-to plant for every garden. Dramatic planted as an edger or on the border front. Dense rosettes of fresh green leaves provide the base for spikes of rosy purple flowers that rise in June and July, lasting for several weeks. Does not flop or get raggedy, even in poor weather. Pretty paired with summer-blooming Tickseed (Coreopsis), Cranesbill (Geranium) and Phlox.
